Jeju Beer is gaining worldwide attention as a leading representative of 'K-beer'.
Jeju Beer's export value in the first quarter grew more than threefold compared to the same period last year. This growth is mainly attributed to increased orders from existing export countries and the start of exports to new countries. It is also encouraging that sales are expanding not only in the core export region of Asia but also in the North American and European markets.
In addition, Jeju Beer is in discussions with various new export countries. Currently, it is negotiating new sales contracts with companies from numerous Asian countries, including Singapore, as well as from various other regions. In certain countries, discussions are not limited to simple product sales but also include new product development through synergy with local companies.
Furthermore, Jeju Beer recently completed an exclusive domestic distribution agreement for 'Seolhwa Beer' with Huarun Beer, the 'No.1 beer company in China.' Through this partnership, Jeju Beer is expected to successfully enter the Chinese market based on Huarun Beer's local distribution network.
Meanwhile, in the current market, K-food is emerging as a leading theme, and liquor companies are showing strong upward trends. 'Kooksoondang' recorded a limit-up price (30.0%) with a 1,620 KRW increase compared to the previous trading day, and 'Muhak,' which sells liquor in the southeastern region of Korea, also showed a 9.40% rise with a 530 KRW increase from the previous day.
