Hyundai Motor Company unveiled teaser images of the entry-level electric vehicle model 'CASPER Electric,' which will lead the popularization of electric cars, on the 11th.
CASPER Electric is the electrified version of the CASPER, inheriting the solid silhouette of the base model while adding electrification design elements to create a differentiated appearance.
The teaser images reveal that CASPER Electric features a sturdy yet simple outline that immediately catches the eye. The front turn signals with pixel graphics and the surface-lighting DRL create a futuristic harmony with the rear tail and stop lamps. At the same time, through the cluster teaser image of CASPER Electric, Hyundai disclosed a single-charge driving range of 315 km.
A Hyundai official stated, "CASPER Electric, born as a new vehicle segment that did not exist before, will become a benchmark leading the popularization of electric vehicles in the domestic market," adding, "We will provide an electrification experience that exceeds customer expectations by combining CASPER's unique character with outstanding product value."
Hyundai plans to unveil the actual CASPER Electric vehicle for the first time at the Busan Mobility Show on the 27th of this month.
Starting today, Hyundai is also conducting a pre-information notification event for customers through an online teaser about CASPER Electric. By signing up for the pre-information notification event, customers can receive real-time updates on product information and the start of pre-orders. Hyundai plans to offer prizes through a draw, including fast track tickets to receive CASPER Electric the earliest, Naver Pay gift certificates, and Starbucks gifticons.
