"Ensure the Safety of 119 Rescuers"... Ulsan Jungbu Fire Station Holds First Half Infection Control Committee Meeting

Ulsan Jungbu Fire Station will hold the 2024 First Half Infection Control Committee meeting at 10 a.m. on the 11th in the fire station's small conference room.


This Infection Control Committee meeting will be attended by 11 people, including Professor Choi Wookjin (advisory doctor) from Ulsan University Hospital and paramedics. They will discuss measures to protect 119 paramedics from exposure to infectious diseases such as tuberculosis and hepatitis, as well as various infectious materials at disaster sites.


The meeting will cover ▲Review of major achievements and infection control evaluation ▲Discussion of future improvement measures and suggestions for infection control ▲Listening to difficulties faced by field response personnel regarding infection control.


Sung Jinyong, Chief of Jungbu Fire Station, said, "We will focus on operating the paramedic team to ensure the safety of our personnel from infectious agents transmitted during emergency activities and to prevent secondary infections in transported patients, providing the best emergency medical services."
