The Center for Remote Education Support at Dong-A University Institute for Educational Innovation (Director: Professor Cho Yongbok) held a special speech lecture tailored for university students in collaboration with the Performance Management Center at Kyungsung University.
This special lecture, aimed at enhancing the core competency of 'communication' shared by both Dong-A University and Kyungsung University, was conducted on June 4th through both on-site lectures and remote lectures using the metaverse platform ZEP.
On this day, former KBS announcer Han Seokjun, who led the lecture, introduced methods for speaking attractively and ways to gain confidence.
A student who participated in the special lecture said, "It was a great opportunity to attend a speech lecture by a famous announcer," and added, "It was difficult to attend the on-site lecture at Kyungsung University, but participating through the metaverse made it much more accessible."
A representative from the Dong-A University Center for Remote Education Support stated, "We will continue to make various attempts to utilize the metaverse in the field of remote education," and added, "We hope for active participation in the extracurricular programs utilizing the metaverse that will be hosted by Dong-A University next semester."
