Polaris Office Group announced on the 10th that it has appointed Shirlyn Kim, a YouTuber with over 1 million subscribers, as an ambassador for the group.


Shirlyn Kim is a lifestyle-focused YouTuber and influencer with more than 1 million subscribers worldwide. Since posting her first video in October 2020, she has rapidly grown her channel. The cumulative views of her approximately 160 videos exceed 120 million, with the highest views for a single video reaching 17 million.


Polaris Office Group plans to collaborate with Shirlyn Kim to strengthen brand awareness for the group and its products. Starting with this ambassador appointment, the group aims to explore various marketing strategies to enhance competitiveness and corporate value. Given the high proportion of overseas subscribers on her channel, the goal is to solidify its position as a global brand.


A company representative stated, “With the growth of the artificial intelligence (AI) market and this year being the first year of the group’s leap forward, we will strive to enhance the group’s image through global YouTuber Shirlyn Kim. We will also work hard to contribute to performance growth through various functions within YouTube.”


Polaris Office Group is expanding its B2C (business-to-consumer) business centered on Polaris Office. Polaris Office offers 'Polaris Office AI,' which allows users to edit documents and easily use AI features on PCs, smartphones, and tablets, and it is sold both domestically and internationally.


Recently acquired Polaris AI operates the Fashion & Culture (F&C) division, focusing on fashion brands Eastpak and Kipling, which have secured diverse customer bases. In addition, it is conducting IT business targeting enterprises. Polaris Uno produces wig yarn, an essential consumer good and fashion item for Black women.
