District Heating Corporation Announces Recruitment of 68 New Employees... Extra Points for 'Jalip Junbi Cheongnyeon' (Youth Preparing for Independence)

Korea District Heating Corporation has decided to significantly expand the scale of new employee recruitment by about 70% compared to the previous year in order to create new jobs and respond to the government's youth employment expansion policy.

On the 10th, Hanran announced through a recruitment notice that it will hire a total of 68 people, including 51 in the general field, 11 in the social equity field (veterans and disabled), and 6 in the high school graduate talent field.

Applications will be accepted starting from the 18th of this month, and candidates will be selected based on their competencies through document screening, written tests, and interviews. To ensure transparency and fairness, the entire process will be conducted as a blind recruitment based on the National Competency Standards (NCS).

Hanran has provided preferential points to expand employment opportunities for socially disadvantaged groups such as low-income families and children from multicultural families. In particular, this recruitment has newly established preferential points for youth preparing for independence. Youth preparing for independence are those who have received confirmation of receiving independence allowance among children who have aged out of protection, and they can receive an additional 5% of the full score in each selection stage as bonus points.

The newly selected employees will be appointed in September, undergo a three-month internship, and then be converted to regular employees based on work evaluation.
