Gachon University Sends 288 Students to 30 Universities in 14 Countries This Year Before dispatching overseas, Gachon University held a scholarship certificate awarding ceremony on the 7th at the Gachon Hall stair lecture room, presenting scholarship certificates to the students.

Gachon University will dispatch 288 students to 30 universities in 14 countries during the second half of the year, including this summer vacation.


First, Gachon University will send 72 short-term language training students (Hawaii Gachon Elite Course) to the Hawaii Gachon Global Center located in Honolulu, Hawaii. They will be dispatched twice starting from the 24th of this month, where they will learn English and local culture at the University of Hawaii and the Hawaii Gachon Global Center, enhancing their global competencies.


In the second semester, Gachon University will send 39 long-term language training students (Hawaii Gachon Premium Course) to the local area.


Additionally, 86 students will be dispatched for short-term overseas classes to the University of California (Irvine), Central Oklahoma University, University of Wolverhampton in the UK, University of Guam, University of Alcal? in Spain, University College Cork in Ireland, Ritsumeikan University in Japan, and Ming Chuan University in Taiwan.


In the second semester, a total of 100 students will be dispatched as exchange and visiting students. The universities include prestigious institutions ranked within the top 250 in the QS World University Rankings, such as the University of Leeds and the University of Sheffield in the UK, the University of Southern California and the University of Florida in the USA, and the University of Malaya in Malaysia.


Gachon University provides scholarships of up to 6 million KRW depending on the dispatch program to support students' studies. Additionally, credits earned at the host universities are recognized as credits at Gachon University.
