Highest Score in Technology Evaluation
Electric vehicle charger manufacturer SK Signet announced on the 10th that it has won a bid for 230 units in the public rapid charger project.
SK Signet secured both Zone 1 and Zone 2 in the '2024 Electric Vehicle Public Rapid Charger Manufacturing and Installation' project bid, overseen by the Ministry of Environment and organized by the Korea Environment Corporation. Accordingly, SK Signet plans to install 100 units of 200kW rapid chargers in Zone 1 and 130 units of 100kW rapid chargers in Zone 2.
About ten electric vehicle charger manufacturers participated in this bid, and SK Signet swept both zones by being recognized for the excellence of its products, quality control, and service responsiveness.
The SK Signet V2 lineup products incorporate the latest design and mass production technologies, securing quality, reliability, stability, and user convenience, and are currently installed and operated in the United States.
In particular, SK Signet achieved the highest scores with 87.29 points in Zone 1 and 86.71 points in Zone 2 out of a perfect score of 90 in the technical evaluation. It ranked first in the qualitative evaluation, which accounts for 70% of the total and is a relative evaluation area, confirming its outstanding technological capabilities.
