"Meet Jjanggu at Lotte World Mall"... Lotte Opens Pop-up Store

Visiting Nationwide Hot Places with the 'Jjanggu is Traveling' Theme

Lotte Department Store announced on the 10th that it will exclusively present the first pop-up store of the year for ‘Jjanggu is Traveling’ at Jamsil Lotte World Mall.


The popular animation ‘Crayon Shin-chan,’ which has been broadcast in 45 countries worldwide, will feature the theme ‘Jjanggu is Traveling’ this year, with Jjanggu and his friends visiting hot places nationwide, starting from Seoul to Jeonju and more. Representing the Seoul commercial district, Lotte Department Store will exclusively showcase the first ‘Jjanggu is Traveling’ pop-up store of the year on the 1st floor Atrium of Jamsil Lotte World Mall until the 16th.

This pop-up store will offer about 1,000 related products, including Seoul limited edition goods. First, the ‘Limited Edition Jjanggu Mood Lamp,’ themed around ‘Seokchon Lake,’ a representative landmark of Seoul, will be exclusively available. In addition, more than 30 newly released goods this year, such as ready bags (small travel bags) and acrylic stands, as well as various goods like stationery, dolls and cushions, and food featuring character designs of the cast, will be prepared.


In addition to goods, popular game software of ‘Crayon Shin-chan’ can also be experienced. The new Nintendo Switch game ‘White Dog of the Mining Village,’ which was very popular when newly released in May, will be sold at a separate pop-up zone next to the Atrium. Customers who purchase the ‘limited edition package’ of the game software will receive a calendar featuring the ‘White Dog of the Mining Village’ character as a gift.


To commemorate the opening of the pop-up store, experience zones and various events have been prepared. A photo zone with Jjanggu characters installed and a photo card kiosk where visitors can take pictures with the mining village background from the game are operated, and a space where customers can directly try the Nintendo game is also provided. Additionally, during the pop-up event period, customers who purchase over 50,000 KRW will be entered into a draw to win a ‘Jjanggu Edition Electric Bicycle’ (1 winner) from the premium electric bicycle brand ‘SUPER73’ and a ‘Jjanggu Edition Keyring’ (3 winners) from the leather accessory specialist brand ‘Smith & Ladder.’
