Youngjin Cyber University to Recruit 1,721 New and Transfer Students for Second Semester... Seoul Learning Center in Operation

Youngjin Cyber University (President: Cho Bangje) is currently recruiting new and transfer students for the second semester of the 2024 academic year.


Youngjin Cyber University, which is making a new leap forward with its "Reemployment Academy" New Vision, will select a total of 1,721 new and transfer students (including those outside the regular quota) for the second semester from this month until August 15.

This university, which offers a two-year associate degree program, is recruiting for the following departments and majors: Social Welfare, Beauty Care, Computer Information and Communication, Mechatronics, Industrial Management, Real Estate Investment and Asset Management, Senior Welfare, Practical English Convergence, Counseling Psychology, Rehabilitation Welfare Engineering, and Child Welfare.


Anyone with at least a high school diploma is eligible to apply, and there are special admissions tracks for basic livelihood security recipients, students from rural or fishing villages, people with disabilities, overseas Koreans and foreigners, and North Korean defectors.


Youngjin Cyber University supports students' academic success through one-on-one guidance with academic advisors, mentoring between seniors and juniors, and a variety of free educational programs, enabling students to obtain not only an associate degree but also professional certifications upon graduation. In addition, for the convenience and academic support of students in the metropolitan area, the university operates the Seoul Learning Center (located in Jung-gu, Seoul).


Furthermore, Youngjin Cyber University is the first cyber university to receive approval from the Ministry of Education to offer advanced major programs for third and fourth-year bachelor's degrees in the Departments of Social Welfare, Beauty Care, and Counseling Psychology, and is now recruiting new students for these programs. The application period is the same as for the associate degree programs, and 45 new students will be admitted to the Department of Social Welfare for the second semester of the 2024 academic year.


Choi Hyeongim, Director of Admissions, emphasized, "Cyber universities not only offer the advantage of taking classes without time and space constraints, but are also the only cyber university nationwide where it is possible to obtain both an associate and a bachelor's degree, as well as professional certifications and practical skills improvement, all within two years."
