Wedding at Myeongdong Cathedral in the Second Half of This Year
Jo Min (32), daughter of Jo Guk, leader of the Jo Guk Innovation Party, shared a video of herself receiving a bouquet at a friend's wedding ahead of her own wedding scheduled for the second half of this year.
On the 2nd, Jo posted a video on Instagram with the caption "The day I received a friend's bouquet, so touching." In the video, when the person filming asked, "Are you a princess?" she smiled shyly.
Supporters showered her with praise, saying things like "Even though she's not my daughter, she looks so beautiful and admirable every time I see her," "She will be such a beautiful bride," "What if she's prettier than the bride?" and "Is she a princess? She's so pretty."
In January, Jo announced her engagement on her YouTube channel. She introduced her fianc? as "someone the same age whom I met in May last year and dated for about eight months. He is not involved in politics and is not a public figure." She also shared her wedding preparations on YouTube. Jo said, "My fianc? is also a Catholic, so we decided to get married at a church," and she has reserved the Familia Chapel at Myeongdong Cathedral for their wedding in the second half of this year.
On March 22, Jo was sentenced to a fine of 10 million won in the first trial for charges related to admission fraud. On March 29, both Jo's side and the prosecution filed appeals with the court.
