President Yoon Suk-yeol congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who recently secured a third term in the general election, on the 5th.
On the same day, President Yoon posted an English message on X (formerly Twitter), saying, "I send my congratulations to Prime Minister Modi, who won this general election with broad support from the people of India."
He added, "The election results demonstrate the unwavering trust of the Indian people in the Prime Minister's outstanding leadership," and "I look forward to closely cooperating to strengthen the special strategic partnership between Korea and India."
