Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Semiconductor and Electronics Industry Department Holds Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Youngdo) held a scholarship certificate awarding ceremony on the 3rd, distributing scholarships donated by companies such as Generssem (CEO Han Bokwoo) and Microchip Technology Korea (Asia Regional & Korea President Han Byungdon).

This year, the scholarship recipients are all first-year students of the Department of Semiconductor Electronics Industry for the 2024 academic year, as well as adult learners, who will receive the scholarship in the form of living expense support.

Among the companies that donated scholarships, Generssem is a specialized equipment manufacturer producing not only HBM equipment, which has recently become a hot topic, and EMI Shield equipment that blocks electromagnetic interference in semiconductor chips, but also all-in-one device saw singulation equipment for post-processing. It is one of the companies where many graduates of the Department of Semiconductor Electronics Industry have been employed.

Microchip Technology Korea, a global leader in microcontrollers, mixed-signal and analog semiconductors, and flash-IP solutions, provides scholarship benefits every year to students in the Department of Semiconductor Electronics Industry at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology through its university support program.

President Kim Youngdo said, "Graduates of the Department of Semiconductor Electronics Industry have secured these scholarships by working hard and getting jobs at excellent companies. I hope our students will also continue to strive and become outstanding talents. I would also like to thank the adult learners who, despite their age, have worked hard and become role models for younger students."
