LetsRun Park Busan Gyeongnam Provides Donation Support for Vulnerable Groups Against Heatwave

34 Million Won Donated to Nakdong General Social Welfare Center

Various Social Contribution Projects Operated Near the Workplace

Korea Racing Authority Let's Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam (Director Um Youngseok) delivered a donation of 34 million KRW on the 29th of last month through the Nakdong General Social Welfare Center in Gangseo-gu, Busan, to help vulnerable groups in the vicinity of the workplace overcome the heat wave.

This donation was planned to alleviate the burden on local residents near the workplace who are experiencing economic difficulties and to support their physical and emotional well-being. The funds will be used to provide cooling supplies to vulnerable groups such as the elderly living alone and basic livelihood security recipients in Noksan-dong, where Let's Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam is located, to help them cope with the heat wave.

In addition to providing cooling supplies to prepare for the heat wave, Let's Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam also supports various social contribution programs, including organizing a Hangung competition that incorporates the traditional game Tuho and the advantages of traditional martial arts archery for nearby villages, providing supplies to senior centers, and assisting neighbors in need.

Um Youngseok, Director of Korea Racing Authority Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, said, "We hope this will help local residents near Let's Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam have a healthy summer," and added, "We will continue to listen to the voices of those in need in the areas surrounding our workplace and carry out social contribution projects that residents can directly feel."
