Gangseo-gu to Hold Seminar on "Study on Application Measures of Gimpo Airport Following ICAO International Standards Revision" at National Aviation Museum, Gonghang-dong, 2 PM on 4th
Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) is accelerating efforts to ease the height restrictions at Gimpo Airport.
On the 4th at 2 p.m., the district held a seminar titled "Study on the Application Plan of Gimpo Airport According to the Revision of International Standards by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)" at the National Aviation Museum in Gonghang-dong.
The seminar was organized to share the results of the research conducted so far, aimed at establishing height restriction easing standards suitable for the characteristics of Gimpo Airport, and to derive the optimal plan.
About 200 people attended the event, including Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon, members of the Gangseo-gu Civil-Government Joint Committee for Promoting the Easing of Airport Height Restrictions, and representatives of residents from 20 neighborhoods.
Given the high interest of local residents in this issue, the district also broadcast the seminar live through the official Gangseo-gu Office YouTube channel to allow more residents to participate.
At the seminar, experts from the civil, government, and academic aviation sectors delivered keynote presentations.
