Paratech Participates in Korea's Leading Firefighting Exhibition... "Accelerating Domestic and International Market Expansion"

Paratech, a specialized fire protection equipment company, announced on the 4th that it will participate in Korea's leading fire safety exhibition, the '2024 Fire Safety Technology Industry Expo.' Paratech plans to accelerate its domestic and international fire protection equipment market penetration through the exhibition of various products.

The expo will be held from the 12th to the 14th at the Yangjae aT Center. Since 2018, the Fire Safety Technology Industry Expo has been organized to expand business exchanges among fire-related companies. Each event attracts over 100 companies showcasing new products and technologies while attracting buyers.

At the exhibition, Paratech will unveil a variety of products focused on fire protection equipment for logistics warehouses. Products to be showcased include ▲high-capacity sprinkler heads ▲water spray heads for road tunnels ▲elbow dry pendent ▲water flow control valves ▲residential kitchen fire extinguishing devices ▲fire monitoring patrol robots, among others.

With the application of strengthened fire safety standards for warehouse facilities starting this year, Paratech is expanding its business centered on products for logistics warehouses. It has already launched high-capacity sprinklers such as ▲K160 ▲in-rack type K160 ▲ESFR and obtained international certifications, completing product verification. The K160 is the first in Asia and the fifth worldwide to receive FM (Factory Mutual) certification, and the in-rack type K160 has also acquired FM certification. Notably, the ESFR is Korea's first sprinkler designed for early fire suppression, and Paratech uniquely possesses related testing facilities domestically.

A Paratech representative stated, “Through this exhibition, we will introduce Paratech’s high-performance fire protection products for logistics warehouse sprinkler heads and road tunnel fire response. We will also diversify our fire product portfolio by applying next-generation technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and electric vehicles, accelerating market expansion both domestically and overseas.”

The water spray head for road tunnels is a differentiated product that has undergone vehicle fire tests and water distribution tests at KCL (Korea Conformity Laboratories), an accredited testing institution. Paratech independently conducts hydraulic calculations for the pressure-reducing orifice applied to the water spray head, enabling the accurate and rapid supply of products that meet standards.

Meanwhile, with the mandatory installation of vehicle fire extinguishers for passenger cars with five or more seats starting this December, Paratech is expanding its vehicle fire extinguisher business and developing new products.
