RaonSecure Integrates GridaTec's Motion Recognition Technology into Metaverse-Based Practice Content

IT security and authentication platform company RaonSecure has signed a business agreement with GridaTech, a specialized company in motion recognition practice virtual reality (VR) platforms, for "collaboration on metaverse-based nursing practice content." RaonSecure's world-first metaverse-based practical training platform, 'Raon Metademy,' will feature motion recognition-based nursing skill practice content.

IT security and authentication platform company RaonSecure (CEO Soonhyung Lee, Jeonga Lee) announced on the 4th that it has signed a business agreement for 'Metaverse-based Nursing Practice Content Cooperation' with GridaTech (CEO Jiwon Ok), a company specializing in motion recognition practice virtual reality (VR) platforms.

Through this agreement, RaonSecure plans to add GridaTech's motion recognition non-face-to-face nursing practice VR content, 'Smart Nursing,' as nursing skill practice content on Raon Metademy.

GridaTech's Smart Nursing incorporates patented technologies specialized for practice, such as motion recognition technology and VR motion sickness reduction technology, enabling precise practice performed directly by hand without using devices, and implementing an interface that reduces motion sickness occurring during VR practice. Additionally, real-time multi-user motion sharing technology is applied, allowing multiple users to share motions in real time on one screen and practice together.

In particular, Jiwon Ok, CEO of GridaTech and a professor in the Department of Nursing at Dongmyung University, is producing content that reflects the opinions of actual users by utilizing Smart Nursing in real nursing skill practice settings.

RaonSecure's Raon Metademy is the only metaverse-based practical training platform in Korea, providing a highly immersive and realistic practice environment that enhances trainees' concentration. RaonSecure continuously adds various specialized practice contents to Raon Metademy, including medical practice, physical therapy, caregiving, IT security, and drones, in addition to nursing skills.

Jeonga Lee, CEO of RaonSecure, said, "Through this collaboration with GridaTech, we have secured a diverse lineup of nursing skill practice content on Raon Metademy, enabling us to expand the content we can provide to educational and medical institutions requiring practical training."
