Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is conducting an 'Online Youth Communication Survey' until the 10th of this month to reflect the voices of young people in policy-making.
This survey was prepared to gather diverse opinions from young people and promote better youth policies.
The survey targets young people aged 19 to 39 who reside in or have their living area in Gwangjin-gu. Those who wish to participate can respond to the survey through the Gwangjin-gu Office website. Among the participants, 30 young people will be selected by lottery to receive a mobile gift certificate worth 10,000 KRW.
Respondents can select their preferred youth policy (project) among those implemented by Gwangjin-gu, and evaluate the policies and satisfaction levels, as well as freely write their opinions.
In the future, the district plans to use the survey results as important basic data for improving youth policies.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "This survey was prepared to establish and promote policies that are essential for young people," and added, "Gwangjin-gu will continue to listen to the voices of young people and actively discover and improve customized youth policies."
Gwangjin-gu has established the '2024 Gwangjin-gu Youth Policy Implementation Plan,' and is promoting various youth policy projects to support young people's independence and happy lives, including ▲ establishing a youth job board on the youth portal ▲ supporting language and certification exam fees ▲ breakfast for university students for 1,000 KRW ▲ health meal support for single-person youth households ▲ Gwangjin-style lifelong education voucher support ▲ adaptation support for newly moved-in youth ▲ youth challenge support projects (employment competency enhancement), among others.
