Son Oh-sung, Director of SH Urban Research Institute, emphasized, "Public-private cooperation is necessary to revitalize the public housing system," and added, "Multifaceted promotion is needed to encourage many users to utilize the functions of real estate platforms."

On December 26 last year, SH Corporation and KB Kookmin Bank established a dedicated section for 'SH Rental-Type Public Housing' on the KB Real Estate platform. This platform, developed through cooperation between SH Corporation and KB Kookmin Bank to alleviate housing insecurity among low-income households, provides an easy-to-use service for searching SH Corporation’s rental-type public housing eligibility and listings.

Kim Ki-jung, Senior Researcher at SH Urban Research Institute, stated, "The development of this public housing platform has improved accessibility to information about public housing," and suggested, "It is important to operate the platform continuously without limiting it to announcement schedules."

Jung Jae-hoon, Senior Deputy General Manager at KB Kookmin Bank, in his presentation on 'Key Functions and Usage Status of the SH Rental-Type Public Housing Platform,' argued, "To expand the platform, it will be necessary to increase support amounts and link financial services related to deposits beyond the support funds."

Discussions were also held on support measures to encourage participation from landlords and licensed real estate agents.

Lee Jong-hyuk, President of the Korea Association of Licensed Real Estate Agents, said, "Due to platform functions such as prior rights analysis and marking properties with landlord consent, the convenience for tenants is expected to improve significantly," and added, "This has become an opportunity for suppliers, demanders, and licensed real estate agents of rental-type public housing to coexist. We will promote active cooperation from licensed real estate agents going forward."

Han Sang-hoon, Professor at Jungwon University, emphasized, "The activation of the newly established public housing platform is expected to play a significant role in improving accessibility to public housing for low-income households," and stressed, "It is also important to prepare not only the quantity and quality of the information provided but also its format and content at a level easily understood by the general public."

Kim Heon-dong, President of SH Corporation, stated, "The SH Rental-Type Public Housing Platform is a meaningful project where the public and private sectors collaborated to stabilize the rental market," and added, "We will continue to do our best to make it easier and more convenient for Seoul citizens to find housing."
