Kiwoom Securities Adds Special ELB Sale Exclusive for Brokerage ISA Accounts

The intermediary ISA account is an account that allows direct management of domestic listed stocks and various financial products in one account while receiving tax benefits.

The 680th special ELB being sold this time has a total subscription limit of 5 billion KRW, and if the competition rate is high, allocation will be proportionally distributed according to the subscription amount per investor. Any remaining refund amount after allocation will be returned on the afternoon of the subscription deadline.

In case of early redemption at the investor's request, a pre-tax annual interest rate of 3% will be earned on a pro-rata basis, and if the closing price of the underlying asset, Samsung Electronics common stock, exceeds 200% of the initial reference price on the maturity evaluation date, an additional 0.01% yield on the investment amount will be paid.

Kiwoom Securities is also running an event until June 28, offering up to 1 million KRW in cash to 6 customers selected by lottery who newly open or transfer an intermediary ISA account. If you subscribe with 5 million KRW or more, an additional cash prize of up to 1 million KRW will be given to 6 people through a lottery.

ELB is an equity-linked derivative bond product whose returns vary depending on the price fluctuations of the underlying asset. It is a low-risk product where principal and returns are paid, but if a credit event (bankruptcy, default) occurs at the issuer, principal loss may occur. Kiwoom Securities’ credit rating is AA- (as of 2024.03.25, Korea Ratings).

The special ELB can be subscribed online (via website, HeroMoonS# app, HTS) in Kiwoom Securities’ intermediary ISA account from a minimum of 100,000 KRW in increments of 10,000 KRW. The subscription deadline is Wednesday, June 5, at 1 PM.

Meanwhile, Kiwoom Securities does not charge front-end sales fees for the funds currently being sold. You can save on front-end sales fees when subscribing to funds through the intermediary ISA account. However, this applies only to Ae class, and some funds are excluded.
