JW Biotech Submits Response to Lawsuit Claiming Payment for Goods

GW Biotech announced on the 3rd that it has submitted a response to the lawsuit filed on the 20th of last month regarding the payment for goods.

The plaintiff, the Vaccine Global Industrialization Infrastructure Project Foundation, filed the lawsuit claiming that GW Biotech, as the primary contractor, entered into a subcontracting agreement with its subsidiary, Cureble, and entrusted vaccine production to the plaintiff, and therefore, under the Subcontracting Act, GW Biotech has an obligation to pay the fees.

However, GW Biotech explained in its response that this is merely the plaintiff's unilateral claim and is not true.

The legal representative of GW Biotech pointed out that the plaintiff has not submitted any evidence of the subcontracting agreement between GW Biotech and Cureble. Therefore, GW Biotech emphasized that it has no obligation to pay the fees.
