Hankyung Association Sponsors Yeouido 'Seoul Philharmonic Riverside Concert'

The Korea Economic Association announced on the 2nd that it will sponsor the '2024 Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra Riverside Concert.'

The concert will be held over two days on the 7th and 8th at 7:30 PM at the Multipla Event Plaza in Yeouido Hangang Park, Seoul.

It was first held in 2011 with the goal of popularizing classical music. This year marks the 12th edition of the Seoul Philharmonic's representative outdoor performance.

There will be 2,000 seats available. Any citizen who has not made a prior reservation can attend for free. In addition to the designated seats, attendees can enjoy the concert using mats or portable chairs around the venue. The performance will conclude with a fireworks display.

To commemorate the Month of National Veterans, the Korea Economic Association announced that it invited about 300 families of national merit recipients to the concert. They also plan to specially invite single-parent families and families with autistic members who are in cultural blind spots.

The Korea Economic Association stated, "We want to offer citizens a healing time to enjoy classical music while feeling the cool breeze of the Hangang River during the golden holiday weekend," adding, "We will continue to carry out projects that approach the public in a friendly manner."
