"Smartphone Touch Compatible"... Yuhan-Kimberly Launches 'Cleanguard Smartfit Gloves'

Yuhan-Kimberly announced on the 31st the launch of two types of gloves: the ‘Cleanguard Smart Fit Glove,’ which allows the use of smart devices even while wearing gloves, and the ‘Cleanguard Smart Fit Glove Light,’ suitable for use in summer. Cleanguard is Yuhan-Kimberly’s industrial safety specialized brand.

The new products are designed with breathability as a basic feature and added touch functionality for devices such as smartphones to enable convenient work even while wearing work gloves. According to an internal consumer survey conducted from November 10 to 13 last year with 100 participants, the key performance requirements for work gloves were ranked as ease of activity, comfort, slip resistance, and touchscreen operability.

The smartphone touch function applied to the new products is characterized by providing stable touch sensitivity through the fabric itself without the need for coating with conductive materials. To improve comfort and mobility, the gloves are made in custom sizes based on standard Korean body data.

Additionally, the gloves feature oil-resistant NBR coating and durability at level 4 for abrasion resistance. They have also passed the European standard EN388 test, which evaluates abrasion resistance, cut resistance, and other factors.
