Gyeongnam Nonghyup's 'Rural Visiting Bus' Now at Hapcheon Gaya Nonghyup

Gyeongnam Nonghyup and Hapcheon County conducted the "Nongchon Wangjin Bus" mobile medical service at the Hapcheon Gaya Nonghyup Agricultural Products Distribution Center on the 31st, providing care for about 300 local farmers and residents to address the medical service gap in rural areas.

The "Nongchon Wangjin Bus" (formerly known as the Farmers’ Happiness Bus) is a program that offers comprehensive medical services such as free medical treatment, oral examinations, vision tests, and support for reading glasses to residents in rural areas where hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies are scarce.

This year, the program is scheduled to take place at 16 locations across four cities and counties in Gyeongnam: Hapcheon, Goseong, Geochang, and Namhae.

Legal counseling and nail art services were also offered, receiving a positive response from farmers and residents.

President Jeong said, "Seeing the local farmers receive treatment and smile brightly makes me feel proud," and added, "We will continue to lead in improving the quality of life and welfare of farmers."

Deputy Head Lee stated, "We will take the lead in supporting the practical interests of farmers by expanding customized comprehensive welfare services for elderly farmers in welfare blind spots so they can enjoy a healthy and happy later life."
