Korea Student Aid Foundation and NH Bank Daegu Branch to Provide 2 Million Won Each for Overseas Exploration to 15 University Students

Program Launch Ceremony Held

Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Bae Byungil) and NH Nonghyup Bank Daegu Headquarters (Head Jeon Kyungsoo) held the launching ceremony for the Blue Lighthouse NH Nonghyup Bank Daegu Headquarters Overseas Exploration Program at the Korea Student Aid Foundation Daegu headquarters on the 30th.

This launching ceremony was held for 15 scholarship recipients (a total of 4 teams) of the NH Nonghyup Bank Daegu Headquarters Overseas Exploration Program, including the awarding of scholarship certificates, overseas travel safety education, and sharing of team activity plans, in order to boost the students' pride and strengthen their determination to achieve their goals during the overseas exploration.

College students participating in the overseas exploration program inauguration ceremony are taking a commemorative photo.

The 'Blue Lighthouse NH Nonghyup Bank Daegu Headquarters Overseas Exploration Program' is a donation scholarship project by the Korea Student Aid Foundation that supports overseas exploration scholarships for teams of university students in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, aiming to foster a global mindset among students and nurture outstanding talents.

Through this program, the Korea Student Aid Foundation selected 15 scholarship recipients (a total of 4 teams) and provided each with an overseas exploration scholarship of 2 million KRW. The students will explore Asian countries during the summer vacation, focusing on topics related to their majors, career paths, or areas of interest.

Bae Sungkeun, Executive Director of the Korea Student Aid Foundation, said, "I hope the scholarship recipients will be able to fully pursue their dreams across Asia through this overseas exploration program," and added, "The Korea Student Aid Foundation will continue to provide generous support so that Korean university students can grow into global talents who are active on the world stage."

Jeon Kyungsoo, Head of NH Nonghyup Bank Daegu Headquarters, said, "It is meaningful to be able to provide overseas exploration opportunities to university students in Daegu and Gyeongbuk through the Blue Lighthouse donation scholarship project in cooperation with the Korea Student Aid Foundation," and added, "NH Nonghyup Bank Daegu Headquarters will continue to actively contribute to nurturing outstanding talents in various fields through valuable sharing activities."

A scholarship recipient selected for the NH Nonghyup Bank Daegu Headquarters Overseas Exploration Program said, "It is very meaningful to have the opportunity to explore overseas in a field I have always been interested in," and added, "I sincerely thank NH Nonghyup Bank Daegu Headquarters and the Korea Student Aid Foundation for their support, and I will use this overseas exploration program as a stepping stone to move forward toward even greater dreams."
