60s Man Urgently Arrested for Stabbing Mother and Daughter to Death and Fleeing

A man who stabbed and killed a mother and daughter with a weapon and fled was arrested by the police.

The Suseo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 31st at around 7:45 a.m. that they had arrested a man in his 60s, Mr. A, on suspicion of murder near Namtaeryeong Station on Seoul Subway Line 4.

According to the police, Mr. A is suspected of wielding a weapon against the mother and daughter at an officetel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 7 p.m. on the 30th, resulting in their deaths.

Immediately after the crime, the female victim, Ms. B, died at the scene, and Ms. B's daughter was transported to the hospital but ultimately passed away.

It is reported that Mr. A and Ms. B were acquaintances.

The police are currently investigating the detailed circumstances of the incident with Mr. A.
