[Photo] Constitutional Court, 'First Prosecutor Impeachment in Constitutional History Dismissed'

Lee Jong-seok, Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, along with other constitutional justices, attended the May ruling session held on the 30th at the Constitutional Court in Jongno-gu, Seoul. On this day, the Constitutional Court delivered rulings on cases including the Comprehensive Real Estate Tax Act, which sets the tax obligations and standards for the comprehensive real estate tax; the Enforcement Decree of the Broadcasting Act, which provides the basis for separate collection of KBS license fees; constitutional petitions concerning the Military Service Act and the Alternative Service Act, which impose alternative service obligations on conscientious objectors; as well as the first-ever ruling in constitutional history on the 'prosecutor impeachment' case.
