Introducing the Ready Meal 'Matjip Geudaero' in November 2021

Oasis Market, a dawn delivery company, is expanding its range of restaurant meal replacement (RMR) products, which have emerged as alternatives to dining out. This move comes from the observation that as dining-out prices soar, more consumers are turning to affordable ready meals instead of eating out.

In November 2021, Oasis Market launched the ready meal specialty section "Matjip Geudaero" and officially entered the ready meal market. Oasis Market offers ready meal products that focus not only on taste but also on health. Sales of Matjip Geudaero have been steadily increasing. Last year, sales grew by 30% compared to the previous year, and this year, they have grown by 40% during the same period since the beginning of the year.

Popular products from Matjip Geudaero include ‘Samwon Garden Handon Thick Tteokgalbi,’ made with Korean pork and beef seasoned with a special sauce; ‘Omadeng Real Busan Tteokbokki,’ a Busan-style whole garaetteok tteokbokki made with Korean rice; ‘Hongdae Jjukkumi,’ made without synthetic additives and seasoned with domestic spices; ‘Emoi Beef Pho,’ flavored with patented fresh noodles and rich broth; and ‘Changhwadang x Oasis Pyongyang-style Dumplings,’ filled with domestic ingredients.

Among these, the Changhwadang x Oasis Pyongyang-style Dumplings are an exclusive product launched through collaboration between Oasis Market and the popular restaurant Changhwadang. The existing product’s ingredients were improved by using domestic pork, tofu, chives, and other Korean ingredients, and the salt content was reduced to make it healthier.
