Senizen, a total food safety solution specialist company, has officially launched rapid detection of food poisoning bacteria.
On the 30th, Senizen announced the release of the compact 4-channel real-time PCR device ‘Genelix™ Q16’. This product is scheduled to be launched on June 1.
Genelix™ Q16 is a product that improves professionalism, speed, convenience, and price satisfaction to meet various customer needs and lower entry barriers.
It is an integrated compact PCR device equipped with integrated software, applicable not only to food poisoning bacteria but also broadly across all fields of food molecular diagnostics including viruses, vegan/halal, GMO, and allergens. Through a QR code reader, optimized PCR test settings and automatic result interpretation are possible, allowing even beginners to use it easily at an expert level. Additionally, the high-speed temperature control system reduces analysis time by more than 20 minutes.
Above all, while securing global-level analytical quality, the equipment price has been lowered to about one-quarter of the previous selling price, making it easy for small and medium-sized enterprises to adopt.
Recently, Senizen unveiled the ‘Genelix™ Q16’ for the first time at the Japan IFIA (International Food Ingredients & Additives Exhibition and Conference) held at Tokyo Big Sight. A Senizen official stated, "The interest and positive reviews from exhibition visitors regarding Genelix™ Q16 were much hotter than expected," adding, "We received a lot of positive feedback on the product’s innovation and practicality."
Senizen CEO Park Jung-woong said, “Senizen provides global-level PCR devices at one-quarter the price, enabling many companies to use them without financial burden,” and added, “As PCR gradually spreads in the food safety market, we aim to sell 100 units annually.”
He continued, “Based on this, we plan to dramatically expand the molecular diagnostics market for food poisoning bacteria analysis.”
Meanwhile, Senizen stated, “We plan to enter the Japanese market together with our Japanese distributor Kyowa Medical,” and “We will participate in overseas exhibitions such as the US IAFP and expand into global markets including the US and Europe.”
