Sancheong County Holds Briefing Session on Land and Obstacle Survey Service for Sancheong Market

As Part of the 'Jusangbokhap New Construction Project' Promotion

Sancheong County, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 30th that it held a briefing session at the office of the Sancheong Market Prosperity Association for the "Survey Service for the Status and Ownership Verification of Land and Obstructions within Sancheong Market."

At the briefing session, which was attended by members of the Sancheong Market Mixed-Use Development Project Promotion Committee, merchants from the Market Prosperity Association, and representatives from the service provider, topics such as ▲the purpose of the project ▲an overview of the survey service ▲the scope and current status of the survey ▲survey methods ▲and cooperation matters were discussed.

Currently, multiple buildings are situated on a single parcel within Sancheong Market, and the official records such as the registry do not match the actual ownership.

In particular, the presence of multiple owners for a single building makes it difficult to ascertain the current status, posing challenges to the promotion of the Sancheong Market mixed-use new construction project.

In response, Sancheong County began investigating the status of various official records and ownership within the market last month, aiming to organize facility status and verify actual ownership to clarify property rights.

Starting in June, the county plans to visit stores within the market to directly measure the buildings and conduct ownership verification surveys.

A county official stated, "For a long time, unresolved building status and property rights issues have caused many merchants to experience inconvenience as they were unable to exercise their property rights," adding, "Through this survey, we aim to clarify property rights and use the results as foundational data for promoting the Sancheong Market mixed-use new construction project."
