Promoting Broadcasting Industry Development through Local Talent Support
Public Home Shopping announced on the 30th that it has donated a total of 20 million KRW in scholarships to Kyungpook National University and Jeju National University to promote the development of the broadcasting industry.

The day before, Public Home Shopping held a scholarship award ceremony at Kyungpook National University located in Buk-gu, Daegu, and delivered 10 million KRW in support funds. On the 13th, it also visited Jeju National University and provided 10 million KRW in scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded to students majoring in related fields to nurture future talent in the broadcasting sector.
Last year, scholarships of 10 million KRW each were provided to Kangwon National University, Pusan National University, Chonnam National University, and Chungnam National University. Public Home Shopping explained that this year as well, it selected regional base national universities to support in order to foster local talent.
Cho Seong-ho, CEO of Public Home Shopping, said, "As a public institution home shopping channel, we are striving to contribute to balanced regional development by supporting regional base national universities," adding, "Along with scholarship support, we will actively nurture talent through practical support such as providing field training opportunities."
