SK Broadband Launches Netple Bundled Plan
"Will Establish Cooperative Relationship with 3 Companies Including SKT"
Now you can watch Netflix on B tv as well.
SK Broadband announced on the 30th that it will launch a new subscription plan combining B tv and Netflix services.
The newly launched plans, based on a 3-year contract combining internet and IPTV, include four options: ▲B tv All Netflix Premium (31,000 KRW/month) ▲B tv All Netflix (28,000 KRW/month) ▲B tv Standard Netflix Premium (28,500 KRW/month) ▲B tv Standard Netflix (25,500 KRW/month).
SK Broadband explained that customers can watch Netflix content at up to 2,500 KRW per month cheaper than subscribing to Netflix separately. However, the set-top box rental fee must be paid separately.
A remote control with a hotkey that allows direct access to Netflix from the B tv menu will also be released. This is available to customers who subscribe to the new plan and receive the Smart3 set-top box. The Smart3 set-top box rental fee is 4,400 KRW per month (based on a 3-year contract) and must be paid separately.
SK Broadband and SK Telecom plan to establish cooperative relationships with Netflix in various fields including AI technology, media, and content.
Kim Hyuk, head of Media CO at SK Broadband, said, "With the launch of this plan that allows customers to enjoy live broadcasts, VOD, and online video services (OTT) all at once, we hope both B tv and Netflix customers will have a more convenient and richer media service experience."
