Currently, chatbot services are provided through the National Statistical Portal, but it is difficult to receive accurate answers unless precise statistical terms are used. In contrast, Statistics Korea's 'Super Large-scale AI Statistical Chatbot Service' explains difficult statistical terms and concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. It is designed to allow users to search vast statistical information using everyday language. Through this, it is explained that the extensive data from Statistics Korea, which was previously accessible only to experts, can now be easily used by general users and companies.

Klavi provides model construction, tuning, and interfaces linked with its 'CLARIO' solution based on 'HyperCLOVA X.' The Korea Statistical Information Service plans to provide data in the socio-economic and industrial fields collected through its self-developed metadata construction platform.

Im Tae-geon, Executive Director of Naver Cloud, said, "This Statistics Korea AI chatbot is the first case of generative AI adoption in central administrative agencies and is expected to be a differentiated service from existing chatbots." He added, "We will do our best to support digital innovation in public institutions using AI across various fields."
