[Harumanbo Harucheonja] Let's Walk Even If It's Hot... Summer Festivals Are Coming

Hadong Seomjin River Culture Festival to be held from next month 14 to 16
Hwangto Mudflat Festival at Muan Mudflat on next month 21

Although the heat arrived earlier than usual this year, the nationwide walking craze shows no signs of fading. Summer festivals being prepared across the country are also offering unique walking programs, hoping to attract tourists.

The '8th Hadong Seomjingang Cultural Festival' in Hadong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is a representative example. Held from the 14th to the 16th of next month, this festival has prepared various programs such as barefoot walking on white sand and pine trees, and moonlight walking along the Seomjingang River. Hadong-gun is preparing this year’s festival at Songlim Park and the Seomjingang area. In addition to walking programs, the festival will provide various sights, entertainment, and food, showcasing its status as a major local festival.

Experiences such as georaengi (traditional clam fishing) at the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Site, a clam OX quiz, and water gun fights are planned. There will also be tasting and sales booths for clams, a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage promotional hall, flea markets, agricultural specialty product promotional and sales booths, and exhibitions and sales events including the Harmony Park music fountain laser show. Events offering healing time away from daily life, such as the festival’s signature event 'Find the Golden Clam!', a youth street culture festival, and the Songlim Healing Zone, are also arranged.
