Honam University held a commendation ceremony for meritorious teachers on the occasion of the '43rd Teachers' Day' at 9:30 a.m. on the 28th in the large conference room on the 4th floor of the headquarters building.
President Park Sang-chul presented certificates of commendation to Professor Noh Seon-gyun of the Department of Fire Administration and Professor Kim Kwang-taek of the Department of Robot Drone Engineering in the academic promotion category, and to Professor Ha Yun-joo of the Department of Nursing and Professor Choi Young-hwa of the Department of Media, Video, and Performance Arts in the talent cultivation category.
Professor Noh Seon-gyun of the Department of Fire Administration was recognized for his contributions to academic promotion by achieving scholarly accomplishments in his field through numerous domestic and international paper presentations and research projects.
Professor Kim Kwang-taek of the Department of Robot Drone Engineering has contributed to the advancement of education as an educator by demonstrating academic achievements through years of dedicated research, publishing excellent academic papers, registering patents, and transferring technology.
Professor Ha Yun-joo of the Department of Nursing contributed to talent cultivation by fulfilling her duties in nurturing future nursing professionals through major education and the establishment of practical training environments, as well as cooperation with related industries and medical institutions.
Professor Choi Young-hwa of the Department of Media, Video, and Performance Arts has strengthened students' social capabilities and contributed to talent cultivation and university development through horizontal communication with students, development of innovative educational methodologies, and community-linked activities such as planning cultural projects across the region, including the 'Goryeoin Village.'
