Ko Jin-young has dropped to 7th place in the world rankings.
In the women's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 27th (local time), she received 4.73 points, falling one spot from 6th place last week. Suffering from aftereffects of an injury, she has participated in six tournaments this year, with only two top 10 finishes. Her best performance this season was a tie for 4th place at last month's JM Eagle LA Championship. In the most recent tournament, the Mizuho Americas Open, she finished tied for 49th.
Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu (both from the United States), C?line Boutier (France), Yin Ruoning (China), and Hannah Green (Australia) maintained their positions in the top 5 from last week. Rose Zhang (United States) rose one spot to 6th place. In Korea, Kim Hyo-joo jumped one spot to re-enter the top 10 at 10th place. Yang Hee-young is 19th, Shin Ji-ae 20th, Lee Ye-won 31st, and Kim Se-young 34th. Bae So-hyun, who won her first career victory at the KLPGA Tour E1 Charity Open, soared 61 spots to 135th place.
