[2024 Apartment Brand Awards] Hanyang's 'Daegu Hanyang Sujain The Felicity' Popular for Specialized Design

Mid-sized construction company Hanyang won the High-Quality Design category at this year's Asia Economy Apartment Brand Awards. Recently, ‘Daegu Hanyang Sujain The Felicity,’ which best embodies the brand philosophy of Hanyang's apartment brand ‘Sujain,’ began occupancy on March 29, and currently has an occupancy rate of about 90% (based on final payment). This apartment is the first Sujain brand apartment introduced in Daegu.

Daegu Hanyang Sujain The Felicity is a large complex located in Songhyeon-dong, Dalseo-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City, consisting of 12 buildings with 1,021 households ranging from basement level 2 to a maximum of 24 floors above ground. It offers a variety of unit sizes including ▲68㎡A (204 units) ▲68㎡B (175 units) ▲68㎡C (66 units) ▲84㎡A (350 units) ▲84㎡B (181 units) ▲105㎡ (45 units), covering small to medium-large sizes.

This complex achieved a high competition rate in the first-priority subscription held in 2021, with an average of 17.8 to 1 and a peak of 46.5 to 1, successfully selling out in a short period. Subsequently, occupancy proceeded quickly, demonstrating strong resilience in the sluggish Daegu real estate market.

Daegu Hanyang Sujain The Felicity boasts excellent product value through Sujain’s unique specialized design. Inside the complex, visibility and openness were enhanced by installing integrated view system windows, and a specialized design was introduced on some of the apartment building side walls to create a distinctive exterior appearance. Additionally, the buildings are arranged mainly facing south to maximize sunlight and ventilation, and parking spaces are located underground (except for some emergency vehicle routes), securing safe pedestrian areas above ground.

The landscaping, designed and constructed by Samsung C&T Resort Division’s landscaping team, has also received favorable reviews. The landscaping concept is ‘A landscape with Solgogae and Moonlight Yard,’ inheriting the origin of the Songhyeon-dong place name, which was once home to Solgogae and Dalbigol, a valley illuminated by the moon. In the center of Block 1, a plaza and a moonlight yard with a ground fountain symbolizing the spreading light of the moon were created, while in the center of Block 2, a pine forest and a rock garden reinterpreting Solgogae were arranged. On the south side of the complex, a walking path with camellia and cornelian cherry trees was established.

The complex also offers convenient transportation and living infrastructure. It is an ultra-station area complex near Seobu Bus Terminal Station on Daegu Subway Line 1, allowing quick transfers-free access to major Daegu infrastructure hubs such as Banwoldang Station and Dongdaegu Station. It is also adjacent to Wolbae-ro and Guma-ro, providing excellent road traffic networks. Furthermore, the new Daegu Metropolitan City government office is planned to be built about 1.5 km away from the complex, allowing residents to enjoy the high future value of the new government office living zone.
