The county has established the woodworking instructor training course to provide residents with opportunities for capacity development, to help them acquire comprehensive knowledge of wood through basic theory and practice, and to promote wood culture. The course schedule includes weekends to allow more residents to participate.

The application period is from June 3 to June 7, and the first session will be held at the Hamyang Wood Culture Experience Center's woodworking experience room on June 21 and 22. Tuition fees are fully covered by Hamyang County, but the certification exam fee must be paid by the trainees.

The head of the Forest and Greenery Division at Hamyang County Office stated, "We will strive to expand the base of wood culture by introducing more diverse educational programs to strengthen residents' capabilities and increase social participation."

Meanwhile, since 2024, the county has been operating under a consignment agreement with the Wood Culture Promotion Association, a non-profit organization under the Korea Forest Service. The facility is equipped with a woodworking experience center, indoor forest bathing area, exhibition hall, and outdoor adventure playground, attracting many visitors.
