The application forms can be found in the announcement posted on the city hall website.
The employment period for the second half job project is from July 1 to November 30.
They are recruiting 22 people in 9 fields including ‘Multicultural Family Care,’ ‘Youth Jobs for Local Food Distribution Field Experience,’ ‘Old Downtown Tourist Site Development and Environmental Cleanup,’ ‘Azalea Flower Garden Maintenance around Dadomyeon Tourist Attractions,’ ‘Assistant for Infant Forest Experience,’ ‘Seongbuk-dong Conscience Flower Bed and Parking Lot Environmental Maintenance,’ ‘Geumnam-dong Illegal Garbage Dumping Patrol and Cleanup,’ ‘Nampyeong Ddeuldeul Riverside Flower Road and Walking Trail Maintenance,’ and ‘Donggang Neureoji Observatory Hydrangea Path Management.’
Working hours are up to 8 hours per day for those under 65 years old, and up to 5 hours per day for those 65 and older. The hourly wage is 9,860 KRW, with an additional 5,000 KRW snack allowance, and weekly holiday and annual leave allowances are paid separately.
Applicants must be residents registered in Naju as of the announcement date (May 27), aged 18 or older with the ability to work (including those with foreign registration numbers), with a household income at or below 70% of the median income and assets of 400 million KRW or less.
Marriage immigrants, North Korean defectors, female heads of households, employment protection support recipients, and homeless people will receive additional points during selection considering their difficult employment conditions.
Those excluded from participation include unemployment benefit recipients, two participants from the same household (youths can have two or more participants per household), participants in full-time job projects supported by financial aid after the project start date, spouses and children of public officials (including private school staff), and those who have participated in direct job projects for two or more years within the last three years.
Selected participants will be notified individually of their acceptance on June 28 after a comprehensive review based on asset status, household income, and the number of times they have participated in similar job projects.
A city official said, “We hope this will help stabilize the livelihoods of vulnerable groups facing economic difficulties through employment.”
