Gyeongbuk Technopark held a B2B event at COEX in Seoul to support the entry of Korean IT companies into Central Asia and facilitate BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) matching between companies from both countries.
Since 2021, Gyeongbuk TP has been serving as the lead organization for the "Foundation Building and Capacity Enhancement PMC Project for the Sustainable Growth of Uzbekistan IT Park," a project by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) running until 2025.
This event was made possible by the visit of Uzbekistan IT Park and local IT companies to Korea, featuring in-depth presentations on the IT and outsourcing industries in Uzbekistan and the future outlook of the IT sector.
Following this, Korean and Uzbek IT companies held one-on-one business meetings to discuss concrete cooperation plans, understand each other's needs and potential, and establish practical collaborative relationships.
Ha Inseong, President of Gyeongbuk Technopark, stated, "With the Uzbekistan government's 'Digital Uzbekistan 2030' strategy, the country's IT industry and companies are growing rapidly. Gyeongbuk TP will continue to do its best to support business exchanges and IT talent supply between IT companies of both countries through ongoing cooperation with IT Park."
