2024 Urban Everyday Escape Healthy Walking Contest Successfully Concluded
Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do spent a day full of healthy vitality at the Namak Kim Dae-jung Square area.
According to the county on the 27th, about 1,000 residents enthusiastically participated in the "2024 Urban Escape Daily Life Healthy Walking Contest" held on the 25th, successfully concluding the event.
County Governor Kim San made efforts through this event to widely promote the value of "Walker’s City Muan" and to help local residents enjoy walking in their daily lives while taking care of their health.

In particular, Namak health leaders, 16 walking clubs, and residents of Namak and Oryong apartments together used Kim Dae-jung Square as a stepping stone to enjoy healthy walks as part of their daily routine.
The event was held in cooperation with seven related organizations and groups, including the National Health Insurance Service Muan-Shinan Branch and Muan Fire Station. Various health promotion programs were operated, such as health checkup guidance, CPR experience, cardiovascular disease prevention promotion, suicide prevention project promotion, smoking cessation and alcohol moderation promotion, and dementia prevention, supporting participants' health improvement and disease prevention.
Governor Kim San said at the event, “Muan-gun will continue to create a healthy environment and carry on activities that prioritize the health of local residents,” adding, “We will dedicate ourselves to efficiently implementing the Walker’s City policy to improve the quality of life for county residents.”
