On the 27th, President Yoon Suk-yeol held a separate meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang and urged China, as a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, to play a constructive role in maintaining the global nuclear non-proliferation regime regarding nuclear issues.

Kim Soo-kyung, spokesperson for the Presidential Office, stated in a press release that President Yoon requested China's cooperation not only in maintaining the global nuclear non-proliferation regime but also on the issue of North Korean defectors.
