Im Taehee, Superintendent of Education, "Youth Public Officials' Thoughts, Boldness, and Passion Needed for Gyeonggi Education Development"

Im Taehee, Superintendent of Education, "Youth Public Officials' Thoughts, Boldness, and Passion Needed for Gyeonggi Education Development" Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education held the inauguration ceremony for the Integrity Junior Board on the 27th and officially began its activities.

Lim Tae-hee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, emphasized that "for Gyeonggi education to develop in a future-oriented way, the fresh ideas, boldness, and passion for change of young public officials are essential."

Superintendent Lim made these remarks on the 27th at the launch ceremony of the 'Integrity Junior Board' held at the Northern Office of Education in Uijeongbu. The Integrity Junior Board is a consultative body established to foster a culture of integrity within the organization and to discover creative integrity policies.

At the event, Superintendent Lim stated, "For Gyeonggi education to progress in a future-oriented manner, the fresh ideas, boldness, and passion for change from the young public officials present here are absolutely necessary," adding, "When your thoughts and opinions are freely exchanged without suppression, Gyeonggi education can move forward."

He continued, "The charm of public service lies in working with confidence," and added, "If young public officials take ownership of their work and fulfill their responsibilities as the final person accountable for their tasks, Gyeonggi education will further develop into an organization of integrity."

The Office of Education previously conducted an open recruitment from April 22 for one week, targeting employees aged in their 20s and 30s with less than seven years of work experience at schools, education support offices, and institutions. A total of 34 creative and passionate Integrity Junior Board members were selected.

They are divided into six subcommittees across the northern and southern regions according to their residence, where they will discover innovative ideas for integrity policies and engage in various integrity campaign activities.

The launch ceremony was held in a relaxed discussion format (brown bag meeting) accompanied by a simple lunch.

The Integrity Junior Board will continue activities until the end of December, including ▲ online and offline meetings ▲ presentations on integrity policy tasks ▲ and integrity campaign activities based on cooperation among schools, education support offices, and institutions.
