Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency's 'US Bio Investment Attraction Capacity Building Program' Information Poster
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is recruiting bio small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the province to participate in the U.S. bio investment attraction capacity-building program until June 10.
The U.S. bio investment attraction capacity-building program is designed for bio companies in the province to enhance their global investment attraction capabilities in a short period. It was planned to provide practical investment attraction support to companies struggling to expand into the global market.
The program will run for five months until November and will support 20 companies.
The main programs include ▲ bio value chain and advanced investment training (June to July) ▲ mock pitching and seminars (October) ▲ consulting such as company analysis and PITCH DECK (July to October) ▲ and actual pitching (November).
Selected companies will receive benefits such as education on the current status of the U.S. bio industry and market entry (investment), specialized consulting to establish U.S. market entry strategies through company (technology) analysis and diagnosis, and mock practical corporate promotion (IR) pitching linked with local investment experts to discover U.S. investment attraction opportunities.
Kang Sung-cheon, director of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, said, "Considering the position of the U.S. in the global pharmaceutical bio market, the U.S. market will be a great opportunity for domestic companies," adding, "Through this program, we will help solve the difficulties faced by bio companies located in Gyeonggi-do in entering the market and contribute to strengthening their global capabilities."
