Hanwha Hotels & Resorts' The Plaza has launched the second room package targeting esports fans, a first in the hotel industry. Modetour is offering family travel packages to Saipan through its own live commerce channel. Hanwha Hotels & Resorts' The Plaza announced the release of the second 'WHY NOT?! Super Dive with HLE' package for fans of the popular game 'League of Legends (LOL)'. The first room package, launched in February in collaboration with Hanwha Life Esports (HLE), was noted as the first esports collaboration in the hotel industry. Among package users, 64% were foreigners and 9 out of 10 were women. The new package includes ▲ Deluxe room ▲ 2 tickets to the 2024 LoL Champions Korea Summer Split matches ▲ The Plaza x HLE limited edition goods (5 types of photocards, photo booth strips, dust bag). The goods are exclusive products not available on the market, adding a special touch. The photo booth strips vividly capture key moments of players' important matches against The Plaza's signature purple background. The photocards were made using unpublished photos of the players. An event is also held where a uniform signed by 5 HLE members is randomly placed in rooms for package users. The reservation period is until August 14, and prices start from 350,000 KRW. Web members receive a 10% discount.

Modetour, 'Saipan LiveM' Special Promotion

Modetour announced that it will hold 'Saipan LiveM' through the Mariana Tourism Bureau and its own live commerce channel 'LiveM'. LiveM is Modetour's own live commerce launched in 2022. It introduces new travel products once a week, four times a month. Saipan LiveM will be broadcast on the 28th at 8 PM. The representative product '[LiveM] Saipan World Resort Deluxe Room UP 5 Days' uses the all-inclusive Saipan World Resort, a symbol of Saipan. Saipan World Resort renewed and reopened 'Wave Jungle' in April to offer various events and activities, and recently launched a paid program called 'Kids Adventure' consisting of cultural and occupational experiences and English classes. Benefits include tours to Managaha Island, starlight cruises, massages for senior customers, and during the broadcast, a raffle will offer room upgrade benefits. The first 100 viewers of the live broadcast will receive a 50,000 KRW discount coupon per person. You can also find a day tour by light aircraft to Tinian, a neighboring island of Saipan.

Phoenix Island Jeju Completes 'Ice Bucket Challenge Run' Supporting Lou Gehrig's Disease Patients

Phoenix Island Jeju announced that the '2024 Miracle 365 Ice Bucket Challenge Run' supporting patients with Lou Gehrig's disease was successfully completed with great participation. The Miracle 365 Ice Bucket Challenge Run is a donation campaign event hosted by the nonprofit Seungil Hope Foundation to support Lou Gehrig's disease patients. Phoenix Island Jeju provided the venue for the successful progress of the event. To protect Jeju's natural environment, plogging was also conducted to pick up coastal trash near Seopjikoji. Kim Sujin, Manager of the Content Planning Team at Phoenix Island, said, "We continue to protect and nurture Jeju's natural environment through events such as the traveling marine waste exhibition 'Badassudam' and will continue these activities steadily in the future."
