F&F’s outdoor brand ‘Discovery Expedition’ has unveiled new photos for the ‘Freshvent Collection’ featuring drama actor Byun Woo-seok. Byun Woo-seok plays the role of Ryu Sunjae in ‘Sunjae Upgo Twieo,’ sparking a ‘Sunjae fever.’ The newly launched product by Discovery Expedition is the cooling functional ‘Freshvent Collection.’ Freshvent is a premium cooling material characterized by its ‘contact cooling function,’ which provides an instant cool sensation upon skin contact.

It also excels in moisture absorption and quick drying, which not only automatically lowers body temperature but also offers excellent breathability, ensuring comfort all day long. The ‘Woven Felton Training Setup’ worn by Byun Woo-seok in the photoshoot applies premium cooling functionality to a gore-tex mood anorak and shorts setup. Emart24 Launches Industry-First ‘Futomaki’ Product

Emart24 is the first convenience store in the industry to sell ‘Futomaki.’ Futomaki is a Japanese-style kimbap meaning ‘rolled with seaweed.’ The newly introduced product is richly filled with salmon, shrimp tempura, cucumber, egg, burdock root, and more, featuring sushi rice seasoned with sushi vinegar for a sweet and tangy flavor. The Futomaki has a diameter of 5.5cm, larger than regular kimbap. Customers can enjoy professional-quality taste at less than half the price of specialty stores, making it a cost-effective product that Emart24 expects to receive great response amid high prices.

Seven Eleven Introduces Two Types of Caramel & Matcha Choco Levain Butter Cookies

Seven Eleven is launching the second series of ‘Levain Butter Cookies’ designed to be enjoyed cold. The new products releasing on the 29th are ‘Seven Select Salted Caramel Levain Butter Cookie’ and ‘Seven Select Matcha Choco Levain Butter Cookie.’ Previously, Seven Eleven introduced three flavors of Levain Butter Cookies: chocolate chip, aged cheese, and cookies & cream. The Salted Caramel Levain Butter Cookie features a chewy caramel butter cookie filled with plenty of cream cheese topped with crispy biscuits, offering a luxurious look typical of famous dessert cafes and a harmonious sweet and salty taste. The Matcha Choco Levain Butter Cookie emphasizes a soft texture with a bitter-sweet matcha cookie filled with milk cream cheese filling, studded with sweet white chocolate and savory walnuts to maximize the nutty and sweet flavor. Both products are best enjoyed chilled after refrigeration to fully experience the chewy and savory butter texture. These products also fit well with the recent trend of eating frozen desserts, known as ‘Eoljuka,’ and are expected to receive even better responses as the summer season begins.

Woongjin Foods Launches ‘Haneulbori National Park Edition’

Woongjin Foods is launching a new ‘Haneulbori National Park Edition’ featuring 12 types of national parks and flagship species. The limited edition packaging includes charming illustrations of 12 beautiful national parks, including Jirisan, Seoraksan, and Bukhansan, along with 12 flagship species that protect each national park. The flagship species are symbolic wild animals and plants of specific areas, including national parks, designated to raise public awareness of biodiversity conservation by linking familiar wildlife with nature protection activities. Woongjin Foods signed a business agreement on June 14 with the Korea National Park Service under the Ministry of Environment for ‘mutual cooperation and promotion of sustainable ESG campaigns to protect national parks and flagship species.’ The Haneulbori National Park Edition will be released sequentially with 12 types of 500mL products and 6 types of 1.5L products.

SPC Pig in the Garden Launches Five Summer Season Menu Items

SPC’s ‘Pig in the Garden’ is launching limited seasonal new menu items. The new menu features the theme ‘Cold Tomato Garden,’ highlighting ripe seasonal tomatoes. The new menu includes ▲‘Cold Tomato Stew Konjac Noodles’ made with cold tomato stew, low-calorie konjac noodles, vegetables, and seafood among other diverse ingredients ▲‘Songi Tomato Caprese Scoop Salad’ topped with cream cheese and basil pesto on Songi tomatoes ▲‘Cold Tomato Soup’ enjoyed cool with tomato, cucumber, and basil. Additionally, the menu offers the tangy and sweet ‘Tomato Crush’ made by blending tomato, sweet honey, and ice, and the sweet and refreshing ‘Watermelon Crush’ as seasonal beverages. To celebrate the new menu launch, Pig in the Garden is running an event on the Happy Point application until June 30, offering one complimentary kombucha drink for orders over 20,000 KRW including the new menu items.
