21 Projects Including Four Seasons Festival... Online Voting from 28th to June 12th
Daejeon Yuseong-gu is conducting an online vote to select the 'Top 10 Policies for Resident Consensus' for the 8th term of the elected mayor. / Yuseong-gu
Daejeon Yuseong-gu announced that it will conduct an online vote from the 28th to June 12th to select the top 10 policies that resonate with residents during the 8th term of the local government.
The district pre-screened major policies including those that received excellent evaluations in the external assessment of the 8th term, projects frequently introduced as best practices, and key priority projects intensively reported by the media this year, selecting 21 projects as candidates.
The selected candidate projects include △ Opening of the Four Seasons Festival △ Signal for the Revival of Yuseong Hot Spring Tourism △ Expansion of Cultural and Sports Facility Infrastructure △ Lifelong Learning Cultural City Growing Together with the Community △ Creation of Innovation Startup Ecosystem in Eoeun and Gung-dong △ Expansion of Support Projects for Smart Care System Testbed △ Expansion of Smart Senior Centers, among others.
Any resident can access the Yuseong-gu website and select five policies from the proposed candidates.
The district plans to actively utilize the top 10 policies selected through the vote in future policy formulation and project implementation, considering residents' perception and satisfaction.
Jung Yong-rae, Mayor of Yuseong-gu, said, “We want to listen to the voices of residents to innovate district administration that residents can feel,” adding, “This year marks the halfway point of the 8th term, and we will review the policies preferred by residents over the past two years to use them as a foundation for the second half of the district administration.”
