Sancheong County Boosts Lively Atmosphere at Traditional Markets

Performance Event on Market Day Offers a Variety of Attractions

Sancheong County in Gyeongnam has prepared a variety of attractions to create a boom-up atmosphere in its traditional markets and revitalize the local commercial district.

According to Sancheong County on the 27th, performance events will be held in line with market days at four traditional markets in the county.

The events, organized by the Sarang Moa Art Troupe, will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Sancheong Market on May 21, Deoksan Market on May 24, Dangge Market on May 29, and Danseong Market on May 30.

The program will feature various performances such as saxophone music, belly dance, gogo Janggu, and popular songs to entertain visitors to the markets.

Through these performances, it is expected that visitors will enjoy more fun and excitement as they explore the markets on market days.

An official from the county said, "We will restore the vitality of traditional markets struggling due to the economic downturn," and added, "We will do our best to make our traditional markets lively places that people want to visit again."
