Meditation, Practice, and Walking Enjoyed at Tongdosa Temple in Yangsan...

National Heritage Foundation 'Finding Myself in the Sansa Temples'

The Cultural Heritage Administration and the National Heritage Promotion Agency will hold "Finding Myself in the Mountain Temple" at Tongdosa Temple in Yangsan, Gyeongnam, from the 14th to the 22nd of next month. This is a special program of the National Heritage Visit Campaign. Participants will spend half a day at Tongdosa, dedicating time entirely to themselves. Activities include meditation, practice, and walking.

Participants will take a train from Seoul Station and get off at Ulsan Station to move to Tongdosa. They will have time for practice and reflection in a special space prepared at Bulso-won (Buddha Smile Garden). After meditating with a Tongdosa monk, they will also take a walk along Mupunhansong-gil.


An official from the National Heritage Promotion Agency explained, "Compared to last year, we have extended the time spent at Tongdosa and added a meal time. We have also improved the program content so that participants can enjoy Tongdosa more deeply."


The reservation window will open at 2 p.m. on the 29th on Interpark Ticket. The participation fee is 30,000 KRW per person. The program will be held four times every Friday and Saturday. For more details, please refer to the visit campaign website.
