KB Securities launches 'Stock AI' service on M-able Wide

Stock AI is a service that provides answers in a natural conversational format based on generative AI technology and KB Securities' vast data when investors ask various questions related to stocks and market issues. After launching on M-able Mini in March, it is now also available on M-able Wide.

On M-able Wide, users can conveniently use Stock AI on a much larger screen optimized for PC and tablet resolutions, and can input questions via keyboard for faster question entry and response retrieval.

Moreover, through the widget mode Stock AI feature, users can place the Stock AI screen anywhere they want while searching for news or financial and corporate information of stocks of interest or while trading stocks, enabling collaborative investment information exploration between AI and investors.

By opening Stock AI on M-able Wide, KB Securities has expanded the service scope to provide information and answer questions about U.S. stocks such as Tesla, Nvidia, and Apple, allowing investors to grasp global market trends at a glance. For customer convenience, the daily question limit has been significantly increased from 50 to 100.

Additionally, KB Securities disclosed the results of analyzing customer usage over approximately two months since the launch of the Stock AI service. More than 100,000 questions have been answered through Stock AI, with 60.4% of interactions involving clicking on example questions generated by market trend analysis, and 39.6% involving customers directly inputting questions to request answers. This shows that clicks on predefined or AI-generated suggested questions were 1.5 times higher.

Reviewing the stock, overseas, and domestic summary information automatically provided by AI, interest was shown in the order of stock-specific issues (81.9%), overseas markets (14.2%), and domestic markets (3.9%). In example questions, the tendency to check specific stock information and issues was overwhelmingly high at 84.9%, indicating strong customer demand for investment information on specific stocks.

Kim Young-il, Head of KB Securities M-able Land Tribe, said, "As the channels where Stock AI can be used have expanded, we are preparing various services such as Stock AI stock financial and technical analysis services and AI search to better satisfy customer demand." He added, "Based on the generative AI technology we have continuously accumulated, we are actively utilizing it not only for customer service but also internally for employees, exploring various in-house applications to provide better investment information to customers through private bankers (PBs)."

M-able Wide can be accessed via a browser on Windows and Mac PCs without a separate installation program, or by installing the app through the Play Store or App Store on tablets.
